The Chinese giant smartphone company Tecno, official
announces their first android device to feature Iris scanner. We’ve been
anticipating the device and read lot of speculations about the smartphone and
now, we got you covered with the full specifications and agreed price tag of
the Tecno Camon C9 which is officially confirmed.
This time, the Chinese OEM plans to make Tecno more
secured with an iris scanner which is far more better compared to a biometric
scanner, and this makes it more unique as the Iris scanner isn’t common on most
local brand devices.
I won’t want to beat around the bush; I’ll quickly
take you through a tour on what the device is made of and also give you a quick
overview specs-wise of the device.
As expected, the Tecno Camon C9 features a 5.5
inches IPS display with 1920 x 1080 screen resolution and aluminum unibody. The
device comes in two color varieties which include Gold and sandstone black. We
spotted a 13MP selfie camera on the front view of the smartphone and also LED
flash beside the camera, alongside the Iris scanner. The side of the device is
both volume buttons and power button and at the back of the smartphone, another
13MP rear camera is spotted with dual LED flash and the camera software of this
device features Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama and HDR.
