Since the introduction of whatsapp status, the developer is yet to include a download option on the app.

However there may be times your friend uploads an interesting picture or video and you wish you could download them to your device.

In this post l will discuss two methods you can use to download a whatsapp status without wasting extra data. Method 1 is with the aid of an app, method 2 is without an app.

Method1:

• Firstly download an application called Story Saver for Whatsapp from the play store.
• Install the application in your phone and run it.

Now, this app allows you to v save photos and videos from Whatsapp status.

Method2:

• Turn on Internet and Open your Whatsapp Account
• Go to Status option and watch the status you want to download/Save
• Then go to your Apps and locate file manager

•          Open your File Manage
•          Click on All Files

•    Select Your Current Storage

•          Go to Settings and Then Show Hidden Files

•          Then navigate to Folder:>> Whatsapp

•     Then >>Media

•     Finally >>Status

• There you can see all your whatsapp contact’s Status that you opened for the day.
• Simply Copy/Move that File and Place in another folder.
• That’s all!!! You have downloaded your friend’s whatsapp status Video/Picture.

WhatsApp has Introduced 'Edit' and 'Unsend' Features

Mark’s Team is at it again, Just after the recent video calling feature was added to whatsapp messenger, they are set to unleash yet another wonderful update, and I bet, you’ll love it because so many times you might have sent messages that are meant to be for your friend to someone else and you don’t know how to delete it… but with the feature coming, it will tackle it.

Latest reports suggest that WhatsApp is testing a new feature that will allow users to 'revoke' a sent message, edit it and send it again.

For the same, reports said WhatsApp is getting Gmail's coolest feature: Recalling sent messages.

This feature is also said to have appeared on WhatsApp beta version 2.17.1.869 on iOS.

While 'revoke' and edit is definitely a cool thing, what is more magical about the feature is that the 'recalled' message will reportedly disappear or get deleted from the recipients mobile too.

Those who have groups will find this feature handy, as you will be able to edit sent messages, delete sent messages. This is going to make a lot of sense I must say.

WhatsApp Extends Support For BB Devices Till June 2017 Before Final Shut Down

As against the initial announcement that was made in February this year, Whatsapp has extended the support deadline issued to Blackberry OS and Blackberry 10 devices.

The reason for this extension is yet to be revealed, but we believe the change of mind is good for the blackberry users as they will have enough time to get a new device.

The date was extended from 31^st Dec. 2016 to 30^th June, 2017.

This was announced in a blog post made that reads as follows:

WhatsApp support for mobile devices As announced in our blog, we will soon be ending support for certain devices. On June 30, 2017, we will no longer support the following platforms:

•  

• BlackBerry OS and BlackBerry 10

• Nokia S40

• Nokia Symbian S60

The following platforms will no longer be supported at the beginning of 2017: 

• Android 2.1 and Android 2.2

• Windows Phone 7

• iPhone 3GS/iOS 6

These platforms don't offer the kind of capabilities we need to expand our app's features in the future. If you use one of these affected mobile devices, we recommend upgrading to a newer Android running OS 2.3+, a Windows Phone 8+, or an iPhone running iOS 7+ before the end of 2016 to continue using WhatsApp.

The new update for the BlackBerry 10 version is available through BlackBerry World right now but keep in mind; it's a re-setting of the time-bomb built into the app, which will now no longer go off at the end of 2016.

Apple Watch 2 Set to Launch Alongside iPhone 7 in September: Report

Past reports indicated that the Apple Watch 2 may be launched during WWDC, but that didn't happen. If this report is true, then the next-generation Apple Watch will see an unveil alongside the iPhone 7. The volume of shipments ordered also suggests that Apple is betting big on the next-generation Apple Watch 2.

Apple is anticipated to launch the iPhone 7 in September this year. New reports have surfaced claiming that the Apple Watch 2 may also see a launch alongside the flagship smartphone.

The Cupertino giant is pushing its suppliers to mass produce Apple Watch, and the shipment is expected in the third quarter. Digitimes cites supply chain sources, and reveals that as many as two million Apple Watch smartwatches are expected to be shipped in the third quarter.

"Shipments of chips and components for the second-generation Apple Watch are set to begin in the third quarter. Orders for the upcoming Apple Watch have been higher-than-expected. Judging from the orders, the sources estimated that about two million units of the new Apple Watch could be shipped monthly," the report said.

Another rumour regarding the release date of the Apple Watch 2 comes from China - more specifically, the chairman of Quanta, Barry Lam. Quanta manufactured the first-generation Apple Watch, and we expect it'll also be the manufacturer of the second-generation device, so when the chairman announced a general release date window at an investors meeting, people paid attention.

According to reports, Lam claims that we'll be seeing limited stock of the Apple Watch 2 near the end of Q2 2016, with more stock becoming available in Q3 2016. Based on this, it looks like the Apple Watch 2 will have a possible June 2016 release date, which falls in line with the analyst claims above.

Rumours suggest that Apple Watch 2 won't change much in design, but will be at least 20 to 40 percent thinner than its predecessor. Apple may be looking to improve the battery life on the Apple Watch 2, seen by many to be a big drawback in its current offering in the market. The smartwatch is also expected to support cellular connectivity. However, it is worth noting that all of these are just speculations, and must be taken with a pinch of salt.

The iPhone 7 has also been subjected to many leaks, and is expected to sport a design similar to the iPhone 6s. The antenna bands may shift to the edges, and the larger variant may embed 3GB of RAM to accommodate the rumoured dual camera setup. There are also speculations of a Smart Connector, but reports about that are conflicting.

New Educational App That Rewards Users With Real Cash

Over $1,000 (roughly Rs. 68,000) in prizes was awarded in the first week alone, with the grand prize winner taking in $500 (roughly Rs. 36,000).

"People used to have to pay for education and since then, we've seen a huge push in the industry towards free online service. But we're looking to take it one step further where people all over the world will actually get paid to learn," said Alan Moonsoo Kim, CEO, BeNative, in a statement.

"We intend to disrupt the industry so that others have no choice but to follow," he added.
