In this post l will discuss two methods you can use to download a whatsapp status without wasting extra data. Method 1 is with the aid of an app, method 2 is without an app.

• Firstly download an application called Story Saver for Whatsapp from the play store.
• Install the application in your phone and run it.

How to Root Tecno Phantom 6 (A6) in Few Easy Steps

Some android users are still scared of rooting their device for the fear of getting bricked, but l can tell you if your device is not rooted yet then you are yet to enjoy your device to the fullest.

Procedure

ü  Download TWRP recovery image for Tecno Phantom 6 (A6) ported by Team Hovatek HERE

ü  Setup ADB and Fastboot on the PC using the guide HERE

ü  Extract and copy the TWRP recovery.img into the same folder as the fastboot.exe and adb.exe

ü  Unlock the Bootloader of the Tecno Phantom 6 using the guide HERE 

ü  Download SuperSU 2.76.zip (Download Here)

ü  Copy SuperSU.zip to both the phone’s internal storage

ü  Connect the phone to the PC via USB cord while switched On and boot it into Fastboot (as instructed in the Bootloader unlock guide; don't forget to re-enable OEM unlocking and USB Debugging)

ü  When the phone enters Fastboot, load the TWRP recovery to the phone by typing the command below then pressing Enter

fastboot boot recovery.img

Ø  The phone should automatically boot into TWRP recovery mode

Ø  In TWRP, if you get a prompt asking you to swipe to allow modification of the System partition, tap KEEP READ ONLY

Ø  If TWRP offers to root the phone, select NO

Ø  In TWRP recovery, tap Install

Ø  Navigate to the location of the SuperSU2.76.zip and select it

Ø  Swipe to confirm flashing of SuperSU.zip and wait till flashing is complete

Ø  Reboot the phone normally

Ø  Download root checker from playstore and run to confirm if your device is successfully rooted
