How to fix an MTK Android phone bricked after an OTA(Over_The_Air) update

This tutorial is exclusively for MTK  android phones like (e.g Tecno, Gionee, Infinix, Opsson, Micromax etc)

OTA bricks can possibly affect both rooted and non rooted devices, so we cant say that rooring is the main cause of the problem but it is only a possible contributing agent.

The problems starts from you getting a steady prompt saying “an update is available" or you made an update by going to Settings > About > System update .

And perhaps after your update your device only boots straight to recovery mode like you saw in the picture above. then fixing it is very easy task.

All you need to do is download the firmware / stock ROM for your exact phone model HERE then flash only system.img (Android) using SP flash tool HERE.
