How to fix "unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped on an MTK phone"

* Note: This below solutions also applies to all Android phones not only MTK phones like Tecno, Infinix, Gionee etc

The possible causes of this problem are :

1. a Corrupted or missing Phone.apk file

2. An Unexpected crash in Phone.apk while  attempting to display a caller ID and other information

How to solve the problem

Method 1: Using Ultimate Caller ID Screen HD

Download and install Ultimate Caller ID Screen HD  from the following link@ https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lowveld.ucs&hl=es

Method 2: Clear your Phone’s  data and cache

* Go  to Settings > Apps > All > Phone

* Clear data and cache

* Reboot your phone

Method 3: Replace Phone.apk (this is your last resort when the first and second method fails)

Download your phone’s  Stock ROM @https://forum.hovatek.com/forum-89.html and flash only system.img (Android) using SP flash tool @ https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-159.html
