How to Chat with Visitors Live on your Blog with Tawk.to

This tutorial introduces a free Live chat provide and also provides a guide on how you can setup your Live chat channel on your blog.

Firstly, lets know the advantages of a live chat support in your blog or Business Site.
Live chat is a very essential feature that all business sites and blogs should never do away with. Despite having a contact us page and your business hotline on your website the need for a live chat still remains undisputable with the following reasons:

  • It enables a customer to multitask: a customer/visitor leaves a message and continues with other engagements while he receives a ping sound (notification when his message is replied).
  • It provides chat log that serves as an evidence and security to the user: when a customer engages in a telephone conversation with you, they don’t really have a recording of the conversation in case need arises to provide the conversation as evidence.
  • It is cost free: live chat is totally a free channel to use unlike a telephone contact which costs a lot.

These are only a few advantages of a live chat feature.
Most of the  live chat providers  requires you to pay before you can use the tool.
Here is a list of some of the payed live chat providers:

  •          Velaro
  •          WebsiteAlive
  •          LiveHelpNow
  •          Kayako Fusion
  •          BoldChat
  •          Comm100 Live Chat
  •          LivePerson

However in this post l will introduce to you a free Live chat provider l came across on my research.
