How To Use Hosted Adsense Account On a Custom Domain

After my adsense account was barned few weeks back, and knowing how possible it can be to get a hosted account within 3hours l came to think about a way of making the hosted account work on a custom domain.

NOTE: a hosted account is by default made to be used on youtube and google domains like .blogspot.

On my research l came across this tutorial on how you can bypass this restriction and use your hosted adsense account on a custom domain.

Google offers two types of adsense account:

1. Hosted:this account works only on youtube and all google hosted domains e.g .blogspot .
2. Non hosted:this works in all domains including custom domains like .COM 

But the problem is the difficulty in getting a non hosted adsense account, while you can easily get a hosted account within few hours.

On my research l found this awesome script made by a co_blogger, with which you can use your hosted account on a custom domain.

Follow the steps below to get this done:

Requirements:

• A blog.
• An approved google hosted adsense account.
• A custom domain on which you want to display the ads.

How to use your hosted account on a custom domain:

• Login To Your Hosted account By visiting www.adsense.com .

• From There navigate To My Ads And create a  New Ad Unit.

• Give the ad unit a title and select horizontal banner as the ad type from the dropdown .Use [Ad size Of Horizontal Banner= 468×60 and square 250×250].

• Then Copy The generated Ad Code .
• Now LogIn To  your blogger dashboard if you have a blog already or Create A Blog If You Dont Have [this has to be a blog with default domain i.e .blogspot]

• Now on your blogger dashboard click on New post, on your post publishing section click on the HTML tab and paste the code you copied on step 4 above, Then click on publish.

• Now Wait For 5-15 Min for the ads to display.
• Then View The post  You just Published In step 6 And Copy The URL of The Post.

• Then Save The Code That are On The End Of The Post In A Notepad.

• Open The code That You Had Saved In Notepad In Step 9 And Replace The www.example.com With The Ad URL That You Had Copied In Step 8 And Save It.

• When you have successfully followed the above steps, then you have prepared your code for your custom domain.
• Paste The Code That You Had saved In step 10 On Your Blogging Platform i.e Blogger Or WordPress In The HTML/text widget and You Will saw Your Ads Visible On Your Custom Domain
